Laura Randall is the author of 60 Hikes within 60 Miles: Los Angeles and Day & Overnight Hikes: Palm Springs. She also writes about southern California for Sunset magazine, the Washington Post, the Christian Science Monitor, and other publications. Laura has worked for the Hollywood Reporter, Bloomberg News, and Caribbean Travel & Life magazine. She lives with her family in the foothills of the San Gabriel Mountains.
